Celtics, 76ers reportedly interested in Knicks’ forward Reggie Bullock
With the 2020-21 NBA season coming to an end, the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers will seek to improve their roster ahead of next season.
According to Marc Berman of NY Post, both teams are interested in the New York Knicks’ sharpshooter Reggie Bullock. Berman’s sources also claim that the Lakers could also be interested in the veteran swingman.
“According to an NBA source, two Atlantic Division squads, the Celtics and 76ers, have interest in Knicks swingman Reggie Bullock, who started all season at either shooting guard or small forward.”
Throughout the 65 games Bullock participated in last season, he shot 41 percent from three on six attempts per game. He also made 52 percent of his two-point shots, while he hit his free throws on a 90 percent clip.
Berman also reports that Bullock will likely command the full mid-level exception of $9.23 million should he not stay with the Knicks who hold his early bird rights. He is also expected to command a three-year deal, per Berman.
